What if I don't see my lab results?

Please keep in mind that the date of the result is the date it was received, with the most recently received result appearing towards the top.

The Health Center will allow your doctor the option to display appointments, diagnoses, medication history, immunizations and allergies. Information will directly reflect information that has been added to your chart by your doctor. The exception to this is lab results. Because of the potentially sensitive nature of lab results, they will not be automatically updated in your Health Center account. While your doctor may be able to confirm that these results are in the system it is important to distinguish that they need to share these results with your Patient Portal Account. This is a special step the practice will need to acknowledge per lab result within their electronic charting system.
  • For missing lab results: Even when a doctor has correctly Shared the lab result with your Health Center Account these results will NOT show in your account if the results are preliminary. You will need to confirm with your doctor that these results are final.
  • What if the results are final, but I still do not see results?: After confirming that the results you are looking for are Final and have been correctly shared to your Health Center account, the results still may not show up in your account due to their format. If you see the message, "Requested on" this indicates that the lab has been correctly shared but cannot be viewed. In this case, the information is not structured in a way that can be shared within your account.

  • *Please note your doctor does not have the ability to adjust this format. If you need these results, please follow up directly with your doctors office for a printed copy.

  • For lab results that have disappeared: A lab result will no longer be view-able within your Health Center account if your provider has marked this lab to no longer be shared. If you are missing a lab result that was once available to you, please reach out to your doctor and request this result be marked as shared with your Health Center account.
If you are expecting a lab result that is not currently accessible in the Health Center, you should contact your health care provider directly and ask them to share the result with your Health Center account. Please note that depending on where you live, your provider may not be permitted to share certain results with you through the Health Center. As there are restrictions on sharing some lab results in Patient Fusion, you may need to contact your doctor directly to obtain printed results.
